Load: The 800mm and 600mm swing assemblies are suitable for loads of up to 150kg and the 500mm swing assemblies suitable for loads up to 100kg.
Location: Swing ropes should be attached to healthy branches of appropriate strength to bear the weight of the swing user. Care should be taken to find a suitable location free from any potential hazards (including low branches, water, rocks and fences).
Use: The swing is used at your own risk and care should be taken when using the swing. The oak swing seats are heavy and could cause injury. All children should be supervised when either using the swing or when standing near a swing that is in use. The swings are not suitable for use by children less than 6 years of age.
Indemnity: Pembridge furniture cannot be held liable for the mechanical integrity of the tree nor the branch. The swing seat, ropes, fittings and tree branch should be inspected for any defects or wear at least every 3 months. If there is significant fraying of the rope, mechanical failure of the fittings, marked splitting of the seat (minor splitting is usual as the seat ages) or damage to the tree branch, the swing should not be used until the fault has been corrected.
