Pembridge design and make contemporary furniture of the highest quality comparable to the very best in the country. Our principle designer, David Rees, is a liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. All our furniture is handmade in England by specialist craftsmen using traditional cabinet making techniques. Polishing is done painstakingly by hand and our large table tops finished using over 40 fine coats of polish.
The renewable hardwood timbers we use are sawn and seasoned naturally in our workshops in Herefordshire. The ivory inlays we use are recycled from old piano keys.
Our furniture is highly exclusive often with just one or a few items of each piece made and much of it bespoke. For furniture not in stock, orders will normally take 6 weeks for smaller items and 12 weeks for larger pieces.
We have also translated our skills and philosophy to make garden furniture, swings, bread boards and cheese boards.
Our furniture will always be designed and made to the highest standard using the best timber and materials possible.
